Minesweeper
Reveal safe cells and avoid hidden mines
Minesweeper is a classic logic puzzle. Each revealed number shows how many mines are in the eight neighboring cells. Use those clues to mark mines and open all safe cells.
Rules
Click a covered cell to reveal it. If it contains a mine, the round is lost.
A revealed number tells you how many mines are touching that cell, including diagonals.
Right-click to place or remove a flag on cells you believe contain mines.
You win when every non-mine cell is revealed. Flags are optional but help with tracking.
Strategies & Tips
Start with Zeroes
Cells with 0 nearby mines expand automatically and reveal large safe areas.
Use Exact Count Matches
If a revealed 2 touches exactly two unopened cells, both are mines. If it already touches two flagged cells, all other touching unopened cells are safe.
Work from the Frontier
Focus on edges between revealed and hidden cells. That is where clue deductions happen.
Retry Tough Boards
Some positions involve uncertainty. If you hit a mine, retry and approach the frontier from a different angle.
